Everything the assistant does on a phone runs as a task. Tasks are visible outside the chat, so you can check what happened without scrolling back through a conversation.

Tasks in the dashboard

When the assistant works on a device, it starts one or more tasks. Each task appears on the Tasks page with its status, the device it ran on, screenshots taken along the way, and the result. You can also ask the assistant about its own tasks:
What did the last task on my Instagram phone do?
List the tasks that failed today.
The assistant reads task status and results; it does not cancel or edit tasks from that view. To stop work that is running right now, stop the current turn in the chat. See Human in the loop.

Screen recordings

Ask the assistant to record the phone while it works. It starts a video recording on the device, shows a recording card in the chat, does the job, and stops the recording when done. The card becomes an inline video player once the recording is ready.
Record the screen while you go through the signup, I want to see every step.
Recordings are video only and belong to the device they were made on. The assistant plays them back only through the card in the chat, never as a raw link.
A recording captures the whole screen, including anything the assistant types or reads while it is on. Do not record while credentials or codes are visible if the recording will be shared.

For a quick look rather than a video, ask for a screenshot. It is attached to the task and shown in the chat.
